Hello, welcome to the Craps Mat website. My name is Scott Cameron. I have been working in the casino business in Las Vegas for nearly 30 years. At work I also cross-train blackjack dealers the art of dealing craps from many of our properties. Seven of those 20 + years I worked a second job teaching craps in a local dealing school which at the time was Nevada's largest most successful program, (Thank you very much) The Las Vegas School of Dealing.

​The problem I had at the school was that new break-in dealers would return seeking a place to practice their game because used casino layouts were hard to come by and very expensive. I didn't have the space for them to practice because I needed the craps tables for my class. So....I developed the Dice Dealer Practice Mat in 2008 and as a tool for aspiring casino dealers who wish to improve their game that I sell on my other site  Casino Dealers Website

To no one's surprise, the public caught wind of the quality of the mat and asked me to add a side bet prop box so they too can practice their game or host a 'casino night' game from home. Most of my customers were folks who have never played craps and had many questions about playing at home. 

I market the Craps Mat, not to gamblers but to people searching for home party game ideas. I was overwhelmed and to help answer so many questions, CrapsMat.com was born. This website helps teach beginners how to have fun with this unit, hosting craps parties and bbq's, drinking or whatever and having a blast playing TRUE ODDS CRAPS that I teach........Rules, so easy to learn, ANYONE can learn to play and deal in minutes!
